Become like Christ through discipleship, community, mission, and multiplication.

Find a Group

Ready to dive into a Community Group? We’ve created a few simple tools to help you get started.

Why be a Leader?

We want everyone to have a group where they can belong and grow. To make that happen, we need to work together to start more groups on more days in more parts of the city. You can be the intentional leader who opens the door for someone to find true community and discipleship!

Who Can Be a Leader?

We are looking for growing and humble followers of Jesus who want to help people connect in community and discipleship. Group Leaders know Jesus, the Gospel, and the Church.

  • Know Jesus: You are committed to your personal walk with the Lord.
  • Know the Gospel: You understand the gospel and can apply it to everyday life.
  • Know the Church: You are a member of and actively involved in Christ Community Church.

What is the Next Step to Become a Leader?

Simply let us know you’re interested! We’ll reach out to connect with you, answer any questions, and help you figure out how your unique gifts fit into leading a Community Group.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a member of Christ Community to lead a group?
Yes, membership is an important part of leading a Community Group. If you’re not a member yet, we’d love to help you take that next step!
Where can I host a group?
Groups meet all over the city. Most meet in a home or on the church campus. You don’t have to host in your own home, but whoever opens up their space for your group must be a member of Christ Community Church.
    What if I have children?
We want to support you and your whole group! If you and/or others in your group bring their kids and you hire a shared babysitter to watch them, we offer a childcare reimbursement to help cover the cost. You can view our childcare reimbursement policy to see the coverage limits and how to apply.
How will people join my group?
Personal invitations from you and your core team are the main way groups grow. Additionally, our staff team will connect you with people in your area who are looking for a group so you can help them get plugged in.

    Resources
