Emma DeVore has a heart for the lost and for those who have no way of knowing the good news of Jesus. She grew up at Christ Community and came to know the Lord when she was six, getting baptized a year later. The summer before her senior year of high school, Emma felt the Lord calling her to help the lost, but she wasn’t sure of how she was being called. After attending NC State for a year, she has decided to take a step of faith and take a gap year, working at the church and exploring the calling on her life further. The Lord provided Emma with the opportunity to spend four months overseas. She is inviting others to be a part of her support team through prayer and financial help as she goes to learn, serve, and seek the Lord’s direction for her future in ministry and missions.
