12-28-2017: This Week at CCC

New Year’s Eve Worship

As another year comes to an end, we look back and give thanks for all the Lord has done in and through our church in 2017. This Sunday, we’ll have a special time of prayer giving thanks to God for all he has done with a special sermon focusing us forward to 2018. Our Kid’s Community will have a special pajama party during the Kid’s Worship so no need to get them ready! Do not miss gathering with our Christ Community family.

21 Days of Prayer and Fasting Begins Monday

On Monday, January 1, we will begin 21 Days of Prayer. I invite you to commit to being involved on some level, whether that be to abstain from all food, some foods, or other ways. You’ll have an opportunity on Sunday to make that commitment before we begin the 21 days.

To help you engage with Scripture, we have organized 21 days of scriptural devotions to be sent to your phone via text message every morning. If you would like to receive a text devotional, text CCC21days (one word, no spaces) to 797979 to register for them. We hope you will join us for these 21 days as we begin 2018 in prayer and fasting.

Year-End Faithfulness

You still have time to make a special contribution to the Lord through Christ Community. When we give, we are to give out of obedience and worship, not obligation. Our first priority is the Ministry Budget, which is how we make gospel-centered disciples among all people for the glory of God. Reaching the Lake Norman region with the gospel of Jesus Christ is our primary focus. Pray for many to be reached for the gospel in 2018! You can give online here or drop by the office anytime today.

Let’s finish the year strong!

Making gospel-centered disciples among all people for the glory of God,

Pastor Ronnie
