Jessie is joining the residency program and will be serving as a worship and production associate. Jessie was born and raised in Southern California and started attending her grandma's church with her mom at the age of ten. The Lord called Jessie to himself at ten years old, and soon after, her desire to serve the church grew. She was eager to learn and love Jesus more, so when she began attending her church’s student ministry, her youth leaders encouraged her to serve in worship. She learned to play the drums and began playing and singing after a few months of practicing with the worship team. She felt the Lord calling her into ministry at the age of fifteen and has been pursuing that since then. She became her youth group's worship director at seventeen and was hired on staff at her church as the Worship Pastor's Assistant at seventeen as well. She graduated high school in the spring of 2021 and began attending Calvary Chapel Bible College in the fall of 2021. Over her last two years at the Bible College, she has been blessed with many opportunities to learn and grow in worship and other areas of ministry, such as missions and discipleship. During her summers, she has given herself to growing in ministry; in 2022, serving as a youth leader and core worship team member, Jessie also spent her last summer here at Christ Community as a Worship Intern. She not only fell in love with North Carolina, but she fell in love with the church and its people. By the end of her internship, she felt the Lord calling her to return to Christ Community and began working towards the residency.

Jessie is finishing her Biblical Studies degree and will graduate from Bible College this fall. Jessie is so excited to be stepping into full-time ministry at Christ Community and will be helping our worship ministry in planning and leading services through music and working with the production team.
