Life Change Through VBX
All week long our Church family has been teaching and loving on over 350 children through VBX. We have seen new families connect with Christ Community, new people step into volunteering, and most importantly, we have seen God save children for his glory! That’s right, this week our volunteers had the privilege of leading children to trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. How awesome is that!

Over 100 of our church members volunteered their time, energy, and voices to serving our community through VBX. Thank you, thank you, thank you! And a BIG shout out to our Kids’ Director, Chloe Riley for doing a phenomenal job leading us all this week.

We praise God for giving us the opportunity to advance his Kingdom through the ministry of Christ Community.
An Exciting Announcement Regarding Student Ministry
I’m thrilled to announce that we have hired a Director of Student Ministries for Christ Community. Over the last several months, we’ve been conducting a nationwide search for the next person to lead our student ministry. We received dozens of applications and conducted countless interviews. At the end of it all, one person rose to the top of the list. We’re excited to introduce him and his wife to you this Sunday.

Ben Graham has done a great job as our Student Ministry Resident over the last year. He and his wife Ashley have poured their heart and soul into our students and have made a huge impact on our church. As his residency comes to an end next month, we celebrate him for all he’s done at Christ Community, in student ministry and in all ministries.
Immediately following our Sunday services, we will have a time for parents and students to meet and interact with our new Director of Student Ministry and his wife. They will both be going to Student Life Camp with us in two weeks so our students will have plenty of time to get to know them! It is not too late to register your 6th-12th grader for Student Camp. You can click here or email Pastor Stuart at

Pray for him as he has the awesome privilege of leading our student ministry into the next season of ministry and growth! What a huge answer to prayer and a huge opportunity we have.
Let’s Meet with God This Sunday
We have been given so much through knowing Christ our Lord.

Let’s not forget that we have been called out of the world and into his Kingdom.
Let’s not forget that we worship a God who is high and holy, not low and lazy.
Let’s not forget that we, though we were sinners, Christ died for us so we may know God.
Let’s not forget that we, as His Church, are called to gather weekly to worship Him.

God has something to say to us from Psalm 130 this Sunday. God is working through Christ Community. His Spirit is moving. His plans are in order. And his grace is sufficient for all. Invite a friend to join you, as we seek to meet with God together.

I’ll meet you in the gym at 16301 Old Statesville Road this Sunday.
