Discipleship Pathway

At Christ Community, we exist to make gospel-centered disciples among all people for the glory of God. That means helping people trust Christ, grow in their understanding of His Word, walk in obedience, and live on mission. Discipleship at Christ Community means believing the gospel, belonging to the church, becoming like Christ, and building God’s Kingdom.

Believe

The Gospel

A relationship with God begins by faith in the gospel: the good news that Jesus Christ died as a substitute and rose from the grave to redeem sinners.
Follow Christ

Becoming a Christian starts with the decision to respond to the gospel by faith alone in Christ alone. Have you recently made the decision to surrender your life to Christ? Let us know and we’ll follow up to help you begin your walk with God.

Get Baptized
Being baptized is the first step of obedience for believers. While baptism is not what makes someone a Christian, every Christian is commanded to be baptized by immersion following a genuine profession of faith.
Worship Regularly
Followers of Christ are called to gather regularly and worship faithfully. Each Sunday, Christians all over the world gather in local churches to sing praises back to God, observe baptism and communion, and sit under the preaching of God’s Word.

Belong

To The Church

The Christian life works best when believers are rooted in their local church community with other believers, growing in the gospel and sharing it with others.
Attend Open House

Open House is a one-time class designed to help you learn more about who we are, why we exist, and how you can get involved. During Open House, we’ll create spaces for you to ask open-ended questions each week as you seek to discover if God is calling you to dive in at Christ Community.

Join Christ Community

Membership is the covenant we make with one another as a church. Every member of Christ Community agrees to remain true to the faith, engage with our church family, and be a part of our mission. Biblically, belonging to a local church body is essential for faithful followers of Jesus.

Become

Like Jesus

Jesus Christ is our perfect standard. We believe Christians grow spiritually by imitating Jesus, studying his Word, and applying it to their daily lives.
Classes & Groups
God has wired men and women with a deep need for community. For Christians, community means meaningful relationships centered around our faith in Christ. Community Groups are where we foster those relationships in our church. We desire for everyone who belongs to Christ Community to be in a group. Community Groups meet in homes and on campus almost every day of the week. Each week, you can expect times for food and fellowship, Bible study, and prayer.
Men’s Ministry
We believe that biblical manhood is essential for a healthy church. Because of this, we have created opportunities for men all across our church to gather together, focusing on growing into the men God has called each of us to be. In Men’s Ministry, you’ll gather together with other men and walk through biblical teaching, application, and accountability.
Women’s Ministry
At Christ Community, we believe that women flourish when they are rooted in gospel-centered community, growing with one another as they discover the beauty and power of the Word of God. Christ Community Women seeks to cultivate biblical fluency, gospel-centered community, and an environment founded on investing in others for the glory of God. In Women’s Ministry, you’ll gather regularly with other women across our church in classes, studies, large gatherings, and more.

Build

God’s Kingdom

Every follower of Christ is tasked with building God’s Kingdom by sharing the gospel, strengthening the Church, and reaching the nations for the glory of God.
Start Serving
Christians are called to use their skills and abilities in service to their church. The Bible teaches us that everyone has something to contribute and that it’s for our own good to join the mission. In other words, you need to serve and your church needs you to serve. To serve at Christ Community, you must be a member. We’d love to have you join our Core Team!
Give Generously
In the gospel, Christian receive the immeasurable riches of God’s grace through Jesus’ sacrificial death and victorious resurrection. Because we have been forgiven totally and adopted into the family of God, we are called to worshipfully respond to the gospel through radical generosity. We give our first and best back to God as an act of trust in God’s provision, worship, and a means of investing in eternity. Every gift given to Christ Community goes directly towards our mission of making gospel-centered disciples among all people for the glory of God. These funds are advancing this mission in our community, across the country, and around the world.
Live Missionally
Every person has a role to play in the mission of God. If you’ve been saved by the gospel, the Bible also teaches that you’re called to share the gospel! As we engage in our mission to make gospel-centered disciples among all people for the glory of God, we go and send to our neighbors and to the nations. We’re committed to equipping and mobilizing God’s people to advance the gospel to the ends of the earth. At Christ Community, you can expect to be prepared and then commissioned out to reach your neighbors and the nations with the good news of the gospel.
